VPN - GlobalProtect VPN for MacOS

Issue/Question

• How to install and connect to VPN for MacOS users.

Environment

• Desktop/Laptop running at least MacOS 10.11

Prerequisite

• Membership in appropriate AD group
  • Contact the Help Desk or submit an online request.

Resolution

Go to https://wormhole.utm.edu in a web browser, log in using your UTM credentials and approve the duo push.

Download and install the appropriate GlobalProtect Agent.

Once you have installed it you will find it on your menu bar(upper right corner).

Enter wormhole.utm.edu as the portal address and click connect.

You will be prompted for your UTM credentials and approve the duo notification. 

You should then be connected to the VPN

Notes

• Students are cleared from VPN access after each semester ends.
