Issue/Question
- Snip & Sketch gives the "This app can't open" error when trying to make a new snip in Windows 11.

Environment
Cause
- Trying to use the Snip & Sketch application to take a screen snippet in Windows 11.
Resolution
- Open Installed Apps through Settings in Windows.
- Search for Snipping Tool.
- Click the three dots to the right of the Snipping Tool application and select Uninstall.
- If the computer was upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10, navigate to the System32 in Windows.old. Open up the file explorer and search this File path: C:\Windows.old\Windows\System32
- Once in System32 in the Windows.old folder, find SnippingTool.exe.

- Option 1: Right click the .exe file and select Show more options > Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)
Option 2: Open SnippingTool.exe, right click the icon on the taskbar, then select Pin to taskbar.
