Replacing Toner Cartridge on Toshiba & Konica Minolta

This article assists MFD users in replacing toner when it is time or the toner supply is low.

If a message appears indicating that the toner cartridge needs to be replaced, follow the procedures below.
NOTICE

Instructions and illustrations vary slightly depending on the Toshiba/Konica Minolta model
TIPS
-
Shake a new Toner Cartridge well, approximately 5 to 10 times, before installing it.

Install a Toner Cartridge for each label color. If you try to forcibly install a Toner Cartridge in the incorrect position, it may result in failure.

Most MFDs will provide on-screen instructions while replacing toner cartridges

For optimal printing performance, we recommend that you use genuine toner cartridges for the following functions: Cartridge Detection, Toner Remaining Check, and Image Quality Optimization

Genuine toner cartridges are engineered to specifications designed to provide the best possible performance and image quality to maintain performance and functionality.
TOSHIBA



1) Open the front cover

2) Remove the toner cartridge

3) Shake the new toner cartridge well with its seal side up

4) Pull off the seal

5) Align the new toner cartridge to the guide. Insert it up to the black line

6) Close the front cover
KONICA MINOLTA


1) Open the front cover
2) Turn the toner cartridge in the direction shown in the illustration to release the lock
3) Remove the toner cartridge

4) Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging, and shake the cartridge side to side
5) Insert the toner cartridge into the machine

6) Completely insert the toner cartridge into the machine and turn it in the direction as shown in the illustration in order to fix the toner cartridge

7) Close the front cover
