Laptop not showing on projector

Issue/Question

  • Laptop will not display on projector in the classroom.

Environment

  • Classroom

Cause

  • Laptop cable not plugged in.
  • MLC on the wrong input.
  • AV Mute or Freeze 

Resolution

  • Make sure the correct cable is plugged into your laptop, there are VGA and HDMI cables in each classroom.
  • Make sure the correct input is selected on the MLC on the podium. The input button should read 'Laptop VGA' or 'Laptop HDMI'

  • The projector may have a video mute or freeze activated. Check to make sure 'AV Mute' and 'freeze' are not blinking red. If one of these buttons is blinking, press it to turn this feature off.

Notes

  • You may have to press the "AV Mute" button at least three times to cycle through and get the MLC and Projector back in sync with each other
