• Missing Duo notifications in iOS15

Environment

• Apple Devices

Cause

• New Features postponing or muting push notifications. 

Resolution

With new operating systems come new features. Apple has released new features of Focus Mode and Notification Summary with the iOS 15 Update. Keep the following in mind when setting up your new features on iOS 15

• Focus Mode
  • This will mute all notifications except people and apps you choose. This can result in missing Duo Push Notifications.
  • To avoid potential lockout, Duo must be in the Allowed Apps for notifications. 
• Notification Summary
  •  This groups notifications and pushes them through as a group at scheduled times set Meaning a push can get easily missed.
  • To avoid potential lockout Duo must be set to "Send Immediately" in order to avoid the notification summary window.

• These settings are only on Apple devices running iOS 15 or higher
