Accessing your UTM Account
Your UTM account is how you will access a wide range of services at UT Martin. Visit What is my NetID? to get started with finding your account and setting up your password for the first time.
To reset a forgotten or expired password, please visit https://ds.tennessee.edu/passwords/. For password instructions and assistance, visit the IT Knowledge Base or call 731-881-7900.
Security Awareness Training (SANS)
New UTM Employees are required to take SANS training within 30 days of their start date. Once your start date is here, you will be able to log in to K@te training and complete the required training. When logging in, please make sure to select the UT Faculty and Staff option.
Duo: Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
DUO two factor authentication is required to access your account. You will be eligible to enroll your account for DUO once you have registered for class. To enroll, visit Duo Mobile (two-factor authentication).
UTM Portal
The UTM Portal is a landing page for all things at UTM. Applications such as Banner Administrative (must have approved access), Banner Self-Service, TouchNet, Office 365, and UTM OneSpace are available through the portal.
To sign-in, go to https://www.utm.edu/portal/. You will use your NetID and NetID password to authenticate.
Outlook Access
The UT system uses Outlook for email services for employees. To get access to your Outlook email, go to https://outlook.office.com and log in using your NetID@utm.edu and your NetID password. If you are affiliated with another UT institution, you may have a different domain. Please contact the ITS Help Desk to verify your O365 login if you experience any issues.
Office 365 Access
As a UTM employee you have access to Office 365. For more information about accessing your Office 360 account, please visit our O365 knowledgebase article.
Storing Files Online
We encourage UTM employees to utilize the online file storage available through Microsoft OneDrive for their work-related documentation. Do you need to work on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with your project with your team? Microsoft O365 supports online collaboration and you can access your documents from anywhere. If you need to send files securely, use the Vault: Secure File Transfer service provided through UT System.
Zoom Account
Zoom is available to all employees at UTM. To activate your premium Zoom account, download the required software, or log in to a meeting, please refer to our Zoom knowledge base category.
