When you leave your computer, it is best to lock it. UTM has set default lockout times on computers for Faculty (45 minutes) and Staff (20 minutes).
If you feel you have a legitimate reason for this not applying to a specific computer, please submit this service request, and that will be considered. You must accept the associated risk and it must be approved by your dean/director and the appropriate vice chancellor.
