- Callers are greeted with a message (recorded or computer spoken) immediately when they call you, and they think it is your voicemail, and either they hang up, or if they wait on the line instead of going to the voicemail box, it rings through to you.
- Access to the extensions RingCentral account using the desktop or mobile app.
Click or Tap the circle in the top left corner of the desktop or mobile app and select Incoming call rules.
Under My work day, select incoming calls (you may have multiple entries here if you have setup different schedules).
Under the Welcome greeting section, move the slider for Greet caller with a message to the off position and click Save.
